About

At Serenity Behavior Center, we believe that every child deserves a clear and supported path toward meaningful independence. Our clinic provides a professional, evidence-based environment where clinical expertise meets compassionate care. We are proud to offer bilingual services in English and Spanish (español), ensuring that language is never a barrier to quality care for families in our community. We focus on the individual needs of every child. By utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), we create structured, data-driven programs that foster communication, social-emotional growth, and daily living skills. Our mission is to empower families with the tools and support necessary to see their children flourish long after they leave our center.Serenity Behavior Center is designed as a clinic-based program with an emphasis on Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT), and assent-based, client-centered care. This model aligns with BACB standards while supporting socially meaningful and developmentally appropriate outcomes. To ensure clinical excellence, our program is structured to prioritize robust supervision, comprehensive staff training, and workforce sustainability.

Services

Note: All of our services are offered in English and Spanish (español).

1-on-1 Comprehensive ABA

Our core service focused on individualized treatment plans that target behavioral reduction and skill acquisition. Each session is led by a dedicated therapist under the close supervision of a BCBA.

Adaptive & Daily Living Skills

We focus on the 'survival skills' of independence. From personal hygiene (brushing teeth/washing hands) to meal preparation and community safety, we empower our clients to navigate the world with confidence.

Early Intervention

Focusing on the critical foundational years, our Early Intervention program utilizes play-based ABA to develop essential social, communication, and self-regulation skills. We partner with families to hit key developmental milestones, preparing every child for a successful transition into a school environment.

Behavior Assessments

Every child's journey begins with understanding. Our comprehensive assessments go beyond surface-level behavior to identify the root causes and environmental factors influencing a child's actions. This data-driven approach allows us to create highly precise, individualized treatment plans that actually work.

Functional Communication Training (FCT)

Replacing challenging behaviors with effective communication. We utilize vocal speech and the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) to ensure every child has a voice and the tools to express their needs. We can incorporate Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, if directed by a speech pathologist.

Parent Training & Consultation

ABA is most effective when it continues at home. We provide families with the evidence-based strategies and hands-on coaching needed to support their child's progress outside of the clinic.

Social Skills Integration

Learning to navigate the world with others is a cornerstone of independence. Our social skills programming focuses on turn-taking, cooperative play, and understanding social cues in a controlled, supportive environment. We help children bridge the gap between individual learning and meaningful peer relationships.

School Transition Support

Independence is our ultimate goal. Our transition program focuses on generalizing skills from the clinical setting to the classroom. We work closely with families and school teams to fade behavioral supports, ensuring each child is prepared to thrive socially and academically in a traditional school environment.
